9月も半ばを過ぎ、吉賀町を吹き抜ける風もすっかり秋の匂いに変わってまいりました。本日からいよいよ大型連休、シルバーウィークがスタートします。
今週は【広報編】をお届けいたします。連休中の営業日程と、秋仕様に模様替えした店内の様子、そして店舗づくりの裏話をレポートいたします。
1. シルバーウィークの営業日程と振替休業のお知らせ
当店は通常火曜日を定休日としておりますが、連休中はお買い物にお立ち寄りいただきやすいよう、以下の通り変則的なスケジュールで営業いたします。
- 9月22日（火）：休まず元気に営業
- 9月23日（水・祝）：営業（※夕方17時頃に営業終了いたします）
- 9月24日（木）：振替休業
- 9月25日（金）より：通常営業
23日（水・祝）は通常より少し早い夕方17時頃の閉店となります。連休最終日の晩酌用のお酒選びや夕方のお買い物は、ぜひお早めにお越しください。
2. 店頭にかぼちゃ＆酒樽が登場！ハロウィンのお菓子も用意しています
季節の移ろいを感じていただけるよう、店頭には「かぼちゃ」と「酒樽」を組み合わせたsumikawaならではのユニークな飾りつけを施しました。和の趣を感じる酒樽と鮮やかなかぼちゃのコラボレーションが目印です。
さらに店内では、少し気が早いかもしれませんがハロウィンのお菓子もご用意しております。ドライブがてらのおやつや、ご家族連れで立ち寄られたお子様にも笑顔になっていただけるよう、秋の楽しさを散りばめてお待ちしております。
3. 敬老の日＆秋のお彼岸ギフトもフル稼働で準備中
明後日9月21日の「敬老の日」、そして23日の「秋分の日（お彼岸）」に向けて、お酒や秋ギフト、お供え物の手配もピークを迎えています。お酒や食品ギフトはもちろん、ご家族への日常の心遣いとしてメガネや補聴器のご相談も随時承っております。駆け込みでのギフト選びや「のし（熨斗）」の名入れも、遠慮なくスタッフへお申し付けください。
4. 広報の裏話：国道187号線から立ち寄りやすい店へ
代表がブログで掲げた「店舗の転換計画」に合わせ、現場スタッフも「国道187号線を通るドライバーさんが入りやすい雰囲気とは？」「季節の上品さをどう表現するか？」と日々工夫を重ねています。今回のハロウィン装飾や店頭の酒樽の演出もその一環です。少しずつ進化していく店内の変化を、ぜひ店頭で探してみてください。

This is the PR representative for “sumikawa.”
We’re now past the middle of September, and the breeze blowing through Yoshiga Town has taken on a distinctly autumnal scent. Today marks the start of the long holiday weekend—Silver Week.
This week, we’re bringing you our [PR Edition]. We’ll report on our business hours during the holiday, the store’s new autumn decor, and behind-the-scenes stories about our store design.
- Silver Week Business Hours and Notice of Make-Up Closure
Our store is normally closed on Tuesdays, but to make it easier for you to stop by during the holiday, we’ll be operating on a special schedule as follows:
September 22 (Tue): Open as usual
September 23 (Wed, Holiday): Open (*We’ll close around 5:00 PM)
September 24 (Thu): Make-up closure
Starting September 25 (Fri): Regular business hours
On September 23 (Wed, Holiday), we will close a little earlier than usual, around 5:00 PM. Please come early if you’d like to select drinks for your evening on the final day of the holiday or do some late-afternoon shopping.
- Pumpkins & Sake Barrels Now on Display! Halloween Sweets Also Available
To help you feel the changing seasons, we’ve created a unique Sumikawa-style display combining “pumpkins” and “sake barrels” right out front. Look for the collaboration between the traditional charm of the sake barrels and the vibrant pumpkins.
Furthermore, although it might be a bit early, we’ve also stocked Halloween treats inside the store. We’ve sprinkled the store with the joys of fall to bring smiles to customers stopping by for a snack during a drive or to families with children.
- We’re in Full Swing Preparing Gifts for Respect for the Aged Day & the Autumn Equinox
With “Respect for the Aged Day” coming up the day after tomorrow, September 21, and the “Autumn Equinox” on the 23rd, we’re in the peak season for arranging sake, autumn gifts, and offerings. In addition to sake and food gifts, we’re always available to consult with you on eyeglasses and hearing aids as a thoughtful gesture for your family. Please don’t hesitate to ask our staff for help with last-minute gift selection or adding personalized names to “noshi” gift tags.
- Behind-the-Scenes: Making Our Store More Accessible from National Route 187
In line with the “Store Transformation Plan” outlined by our CEO on his blog, our on-site staff are constantly refining their approach, asking, “What kind of atmosphere would make it easy for drivers passing by on National Route 187 to stop in?” and “How can we express the elegance of the season?” The Halloween decorations and the display of sake barrels at the storefront are part of this effort. We invite you to visit the store and discover the subtle changes taking place inside as we continue to evolve.
