Origin and History of Yoshika Town

Yoshika Town was created on October 1, 2005, through the merger of Muikaichi Town and Kakinoki Village in Kanzoku County. Currently, Yoshika Town consists of five districts: Asakura, Nanokaichi, Muikaichi, Kuragi, and Kakinoki, each of which has its own unique climate and traditions that have been handed down to the present. This historic townscape and the passion of the local people form the identity and terroir of the entire town.

Yoshika-cho is a land where the clear waters of the Takatsu River, fertile soil, and the changing seasons are in perfect harmony.
